Who I Am
I’m Aaron, a Washington State-based developer operating AWDevelopment. I build practical, production-ready software with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and AWS. I care more about clear scope and systems that keep working than chasing trends.

I approach problems like an analyst. I break systems down, remove unnecessary complexity, and ship solutions that are easy to reason about and extend. I prefer native framework features over heavy dependencies and keep delivery predictable with clear scopes and regular checkpoints.

I’ve built and maintained multiple Rails applications end-to-end, plus fast marketing sites on AWS Amplify, internal tools, and API integrations. My projects emphasize clean data models, predictable behavior, and code that someone else can pick up without hating me.

This site is intentionally mine. There are plenty of platforms to showcase work, but I prefer owning the stack and the decisions behind it.
